Set up SKYE on another site

Paste a link to the site — a SharePoint page or library URL, or a Teams channel link, all work; SKYE reduces it to the site. If SKYE isn't set up there yet, it creates a dedicated library with a starter config.

SKYE is set up on , in a "skye_data" folder inside the library. Right now both Owners and Members of can edit SKYE's forms, views, and config there. Most setups restrict Members to view-only — an owner does that by breaking permission inheritance on the skye_data folder in SharePoint (the link below opens that folder's permission settings directly).

One step in SharePoint first

doesn't have a Site Assets library yet — that's where SKYE keeps its data, and SKYE can't create it for you. The quickest way: open a new page in SharePoint and save it (even as a draft) — that creates Site Assets automatically. Then come back and check again.
